ok so yesterday i was dropping my sister off to work. hen i came to a stop light after driving for 10 min my car randomly dies and wont start back up so i left it parked for a couple hours and i went to start it up again and it started drove fine for the rest of the night till i had to drop my sister to work again today and the same thing happen but i was in motion it just stalled pulled to the side and tried to start it wont start again so pulled the fuel line off to see if theres gas coming out there was no gas i left the car parked for an hour tired to start it and it did but died down the street
what will cause this bad fuel pump or maybe the crank angle sensor ?
i also changed the fuel filter today didnt make a difference
and before this all happened my idle dropped on the freeway and went straight back up

pump is probably dying, possibly time to replace it
check all the wiring though first

ok update changed the fuel pump with walbro still does the same exact thing dies when it gets to normal operating temp it sometimes it drives fine but other then that it wont start till i let the car sit the longer i wait the longer it will stay running
can this be the crank position sensor ?

coolant temp, o2 sensor, check your relays and fuses and obv ^^^ check your ecu for codes

Could also be a bad relay...

if the wire itself was getting hot a fuse should pop, if not then something is melting, if nothing is melting, and fuses aren't popping, it's VERY SAFE to assume you need to replace that pump before it just stops working period.

I'm definitely on board with the relay theory. why are you so keen on the CAS though(what you call the crank position sensor)? No offense, simply by my understanding the fuel pump stays on so long as the engine is running unless it's power source fails. The only things governing it are the ignition switch/related relays and a fuel pressure sensor(iunno if it's independent or built into the pump). Now I don't know much about that pressure sensor but I doubt it's the problem from the way things sound.

How much fuel do you have in the tank?

becuase i did my search and i read that some guy had the same problem and it was his CAS ..
but i will check all of de above
i remember when i bought the car it didnt have any power and when he changed one of the blown fuses and it blew up right when we tried to start it he then brought it to his shop and told me that one of the grounds were loose and after that it ran well till this problem started

half tank
Could also be a bad relay...
was also told that this can be the problem but i will check all of these tom

Coolant temp sensor has been known to cause weird issues like this. The sensor might think the car is overheating and is cutting off the fuel to the car perhaps?
