Hello all. I just recently built my S14 SR20DET...i started it and realized the feed line for the turbo was leaking. quickly shut the car down and fixed that...started it back up again and it ran fine, once it started to heat up a bit i heard a loud click, sounded like an Expansion creak. shut the car down because i thought it was coming from inside the motor but even with the car shut down as it cooled off it made me sound several times more...here is my list of mods, should i worry about it? Any ideas.
Tomei 260 cams
CP pistons
Eagle rods
All new Shim and rockers
Tomei Manifold heat wraped. Also holding the wrap on are hose clamps...(could that be creaking or stretching as the mani heats up?)
New oil pump.
Bored .020 over. bottom end built by machine shop.
Idk, if anyone has experiance building motors and could possibly stop by on Wed the 22nd text or call me, ill be home all day and could use the experience. 860-377-0271
