Rb25 rough start up

So this is what has happened so far.

I have changed timing components and belt because of a bad water pump, and now i can't get the belt to stay on. It keeps slipping off the cams. It stays at idle but will slip once i start gasin it.

Second, Once i give it alittle gas.. prob around 1k it almost wants to stall out once i let off. If i repeat this, the belt loosens and rushes off the cams fast.

There is also alittle bit of white smoke(water i assume) that is coming out from around the exhaust manifold.
The car's temp is between 200-210 after runnin for ten or fifteen minutes.

the timing belt wont stay on ??

thats awefully weird. my guess is that maybe the idler pulley or the tensioner are on crooked. but im highly doubting that

me too. this is the second tensioner that i bought because i thought the first might have been defective. It stays on during idle, but not during gas. what the hell..
