I'm working on swapping a S14 SR into my car and when the motorset arrived, the shifter assembly was taken apart. I'm trying to get it put back together, but can't quite figure it out. I realize the shifter slides into the "cup" with the two rods, but I can't figure out where the rings go. These are the pieces I have:

Any help would be appreciated, I've searched and couldn't find anything that would help me. Thanks

put the "cup" in the tranny then the "c" clip...the ring with out the small holes...it has a groove it fits into in the tranny then put in the shifter. lastely the snapring goes in and goes below the c clip, holding in the shifter

Okay, thanks! I'll give that a try tomorrow morning.
