hey guys, i've search for this thread and could not find any with a stright answer.
so, i have a 91' 240sx with a s13 sr20det redtop. i've had it for about 6 months now and the past couple of months the turbo is making some wierd noises, i think its starting to go. So i think im going to upgrade it to a s15 t28.
and i was wondering what all do i need for the t28 upgrade?
i already know that i need a turbo reclock adapter from frsport.com, and new gaskets.

injectors, z32 maf, rom tune or standalone (which ever you can afford), oil drain and new lines with an oil restrictor (.3). Get a wideband so you can see your afrs at all times too.

i dont think i need a reflashed ecu, injectors, or z32 mafs with stock boost. i just need a new turbo becuase my t25 is going out now.
and do i need a oil restrictor?

yea you need the restrictor because the s15 turbo is ball bearing and get new lines so the installation is easier. As far as injectors and the other stuff if ur gonna keep stock boost then thats fine. The stock s13 maf is only good for up to 250whp. If i were you though id start saving up for the tune, injectors and maf because im pretty sure your gonna wanna raise the boost up after a while.

do you know where i can get the right restrictor at? and how much its gonna cost?

Oh, and yea i no i need to save for the tune.
im about to paint my car and do a little more bodywork on it then im going to get one of my ecu's(i have a spare for some reason) reflashed, get 650cc injectors(maybe bigger?), get a jwt s3 cams, a z32 mafs, raise the boost to about 15lbs, get a aem water/meth injection kit, and take it to get dynoed and tuned. But im going to get the mafs, injectors, ecu, and cams at once so its goin to take awhile to save.

ok, i found these line on frsport.com. they say that they are for a bottem mount s13 sr20det with a bb turbo( like the s15 turbo that im getting), and they have a built-in restrictor.
will this work? http://www.frsport.com/DIF-10036-Bottom-Mount-Turbo-Coolant---Oil-Lines-Kit-S13-SR20DET_p_15429.html

go to phase2motortrend.com they sell the circuit sport ss lines and get the circuitsports restrictor. Thats what im using they work fine and dont leak at all.The meth kit isnt really needed with your setup becuase your not gonna really go past 310whp with that turbo. But if you have the money forit then by all means go for it. If you do go with the meth kit then go standalone. Youll get way better numbers. 650 cc injectors are fine i run sti 555cc injectors with no problems at all. and get dif clocking adapters from frsport. They are better and do require gaskets because they come with o rings.

cs will not leak as long as you tighten them correctly. Me and about 3 of my friends run them no problem.
