We did our homework and there is no better choice, it's the dual screen or full color for a lot more money, larger case and ground up redevelopment, then you get to choose any color. We thought its not worth it to compete with the elite japanese brands that have full color and cost big bucks but this high resolution and brightness OLED beats the pants off the old school segmented display on the Yashio Factory Okachan water gauge for less money.

It's not designed to match your car's illumination but instead it's meant to catch attention as a stand alone device.

The first issue is the fact that Nissan uses 1/8 BSPT threads for its sending units rather than the more common 1/8 NPT. The second issue is that we wanted to retain our stock gauges as well. This presented us with a dilemma – where mount our sending unit.

You can switch the display to monitor one sensor that is your biggest concern in larger numbers and there is the yellow bar graph with your preset warning limits that is easy to glance at without even reading the number. Also the illumination and resolution is brilliant being more readable than analog gauges while driving. The numbers are about the same size as analog gauge fonts, just brighter. Bottom line is you have to see it in person to judge it. I'll post a you tube video of the guage as soon as the stock arrives.

On my computer the "switchable display" screenshots are about 50% of actual size.

We are planning to ship 1/8PT-28 that matches commonly available sensor adapters in Japan to the Japanese market, and we are planning to supply 1/8NPT-27 to the USA market to match the commonly available sensor adapters in the USA.

The MAX Oil and Water adapter fittings that we have been selling in the USA for years now already are 1/8NPT-27.

Its supposed to supplement not replace the OEM sensors and gauges.

Good for PSM for supplying a solution to the lower end market.
As I see it, It's perfect because it'll slide right into 1 din radio pocket.
Looks like the words will be same size as an Apexi SAFC2.

Don't get me wrong...for the price, its almost too good to be true! I just need to know if it will be readable if its located by the radio. I have a radio delete plate and will most likely be mounted on the upper left side of it. Just wondering if its going to be close enough to read.

Good looking product, especially for the price. I think this would nicely compliment other aftermarket gauges. Ex: you could have an aftermarket gauge for say, boost and water temp, that you really want to closely monitor, and the set this up for your oil temp and oil pressure on the side...I like this idea! Good job guys!

Yes its readable there, just view the actual pixel picture on the last page just past arms length like your radio and see if you can read that.

All of the photos in the OP are photos of the actual display...but I did not take any of them. I'll do a professional shoot and install step by step like all our other stuff when they arrive in the USA.

Went to check out the EVDM in person today @ Parts Shop Max! I'm letting you know, it really impressed me.

The measurements of the Digital Meter make it very compact and I was concerned about visibility issues with the screen being 1.1"

The O.LED Display took care of any problems I had with the visibility. The lettering and numbers are Bright and VERY CLEAR to read. If mounted in the DIN tray, you will be able to read out the display clearly.



I am definitely picking 2 of these up... next paycheck :bowdown:

Hey Dan, does the oil pressure sending unit thread directly in to the stock port? So you could use just the sending unit for the EVDM in place of the stock sending unit for the dummy light?

The switch on the side is still accessible with a small screwdriver to toggle, even though... once you set it up, you don't really need to change it. Eventually I will get a second EVDM and use the right hand side as well.

Defi sells a 1/8 NPT to 1/8 PT converter.

Autometer sells a 1/8 PT to 1/8 NPT converter.

You can also use high temp thread sealant and screw the NPT sensor into the PT hole. I had to do that on one of my sensors (Actually 1/8 NPT hole, 1/8 PT sensor). No issues yet. It isn't ideal, but it is possible.

sorry if this was already covered.

i was wondering if it is possible to use some sort of T fitting where the stock oil pressure sensor is located next to the oil filter on the KA.
Using the T would allow for the EVDM and the stock sensor to use the same port.

would that work?

if not, i would just need that autometer adapter above to run the EVDM without a sandwich plate? will not running the stock oil pressure sender affect the ecu?

I dont have a KA here to look at but if there is room for that contraption it should would work fine.
That dummy light switch sender is just that. Its not connected to the ECU in any way that would effect the computer/performance.

If you run this garbage, you're guaranteed to have it break off. All that extra stress on them little connector will not help AT ALL. I seen it happen a couple of times.

right a sandwich plate or our $60 oil filter relocator adapter has the built in ports for the sender

thats the right way.
