im about to be finished with my sr and ready to drop it in, but i want to replace all the rubber hoses under the intake manifold, does anyone know where i can buy all the hoses. its an s14 sr20det. thanks

i figure 1 person would know how to get these hoses lol, is the kit i found on ebay for almost 90$ a bad idea?

yeah that is a bad idea. Get rubber hoses.

concurrence with the rubber > silicone hoses. it was recently discussed in another thread about how rubber is better than silicone because silicone is responsible for 'disappearing water' because it absorbs water and then the water evaporates.. or something similar to that. i know sounds weird. but if you look it up youll find it, the thread has a link that will outwardly direct you to the discussion topic.
also, if no one else chimes in w/ how to get rubber sr20 hoses, another option would be to go to the auto parts store and just buy a length of the the correct ID hose~

ok thanks, so is that really the ONLY way lol, go to a part store and see if they have the correct sizes? i figured more people would want to replace these, and a popular sire would have them.
I got all of the correct bends and sizes from napa for my redtop.You have to cut hoses and fit them,but my stuff looks oe.I couldn't bear putting in that motor without the piece of mind that hoses weren't replaced.

k. thanks man, so howd you do it? just take all the old hoses in there and ask em what they have that will match? lol
