K so i was driving fast one day downhill and hit a really nasty bump around 50 mph and i have stiff coilovers so it hit hard, my motor has started pinging since, i have reduced the timing because it was way advance i have it at +15 degrees right now, i just put on a front mount instead of the side mount and it pings less but still does, any more ideas to reduce pinging?
Thanks

There really is no logical reason why hitting a bump would cause "pinging".
Are you getting good fuel pressure (maybe you pinched a line somehow when you hit the pump?)
How long was the car running okay before the problem started

a vibrating bolt or fastener isnt pinging.....pinging is spark knock caused by too advanced timing, excessive boost, incorrect octane fuel, etc

Does it sound like marbles hitting. You might be experiencing detonation, maybe retard you timing to see if it goes away.
If its more of a knock could be something like rod knock or piston slap.
I'd get your problem fixed asap as det. could result in blown ring lands.
