View Full Version : Fuel leak?

So I had my tune reset itself on my SR- I had 550cc denzo injectors on my s13 sr, t28, HKS 264 cams.

Tune reset itself, so I picked up some stock injectors. Replaced the fuel rail spacers while doing the injectors, and wired everything up.

With the 550cc injectors, the car would run and idle, burn fuel from the exhaust, and misfire when given throttle.

I put the new injectors in, wired all up, and sealed the O-rings with some vasoline.

I went to crank the car, and it cranked for a second and stopped right away. Wouldn't turn over.

When inspecting the fuel rail, I heard each of the injectors running and spitting out fuel- after checking the injectors, I noticed fuel dripping into a puddle underneath the car.

Where could the leak be from? O-Rings? I didn't find any fuel residue from anywhere near the rail.

Why won't the car turn over? Could it be hydrolocked already? Is there a specific way to change the fuel system, or bleed it?

Thanks in advance.

should I take out the plugs and injectors, and crank the motor to avoid hydrolock?

an injector was stuck open, causing the leak.

solved.
