okay guys. how the FUCK do you get this timing belt on? it doenst stretch and i CANNOT get it on the last cam gear.

so i have my tensioner turned clock wise all the way AND have the timing belt on the crank, idler, tensioner, and exhaust cam just a few mm so i can try to reach the intake cam as much as i can.


the new timing belt is the exact same size as the old one also


and what makes it even worse is that im trying to get it on while the engine is in the car. my knees are killing me hahahah




oh and are rb25 neo rear cam seal plug different from the other RBs? cuz the old one i have sits like flat when i tighten down the valve cover but the one that came with the kit stickes out a little bit if you know what i mean. like if i touch it its not flat. its like a blob lol

you have to put the belt on all three gears evenly(at the same time)

Lol, it does take some doing, but yeah you get it aligned (my power enterprise belt had lines to match the dots on the gears) and stretch it on. Grease on the pulleys helped, and I Played with loosening the tensioner as well.

There's no 'trick', except don't fuck up the gear alignment.
