Ok, long story short. The machine shop building my s13 sr20det ordered the ACL bearing with the 5 oil holes. I believe these are for the sr20ve which has a oil groove in the main saddles.
My question is. Does any one know the the specs of this groove so I can have it added to my block? I need the depth, length, and width. I called Mazworx and JWT and neither have the specs, they just use CNC machines to complete the process. Can this be done without using CNC?
And the next problem is the connecting bearing are for the sr20ve which 2mm wider. What needs to be done the connecting rods so these fits correctly? Do the rods just need to be honed?
Thanks
