okay so i was putting everything back together after replace the godamn headgasket on my rb25 neo. because the valve cover was sticking out so much i tried tightening the bolt so the valve cover would sit flush with the head but aprently, APRENTLY lol i tightened it too much and i broke the valve cover where the bolt goes in. it cracked off but i was wondering if you guys think i can JB weld it back on or something lol

how the hell did you manage to break the valve cover ????

give your jb weld idea a try i guess. its your only shot without having to buy new valve covers. Also it would only work if it was a clean break. check if it leaks after you have the motor running again.

I think the valve covers are steel. (see if a magnet sticks to them) Any machine shop or buddy with a welder should be able to run a bead across the crack and then grind it down to the point you'd never be able to tell there was anything done after you paint it.

Just for clarity, you're talking about the valve covers and not the silver NEO valve cover shroud thing, right?
