I've got white smoke pouring from exhaust. At first it was only at warm up now it's starts off not bad and gets bad when I rev it and let off.
I first replaced my turbo with a friends that didn't smoke at all when he upgraded to a gt2871r. Still smoked. Checked compression and it's even across cylinders. Only got 90 psi on each but it was an autozone borrowed shit so we chalked it up to uncalibrated gauge. Leakdown block tester showed no exhaust fumes in coolant.
So maybe my smoke that looks white is oil and I'm not seeing it as blue? Maybe my friends turbo sat for too long without oil? Valve seals? Valve seats?

Have you checked your coolant hoses for cracks or leaks? Also, have you conducted a system pressure test to confirm? White smoke is usually caused by leaking coolant, and a leak can be anywhere in the system. Burning fluid has a distinct smell and color to it, and is easily differentiated from burning oil.

Responses like this are why I asked for an advanced mechanic. Naturally I have checked all of the obvious things. Why would a cracked hose have anything to do with white smoke out of my exhaust? I didnt pressurize the cooling system yet and thats next. But I doubt I will find anything there because of the tests Ive already done. The smoke looks white not blue and as far as the smell it smells more like oil.

I have the exact same problem and I'm lost.
Its a break up under light load at first and now its getting pretty bad.
Its intermitten, it'll be fine one minute and then it starts sputtering and running like ass.
I need to figure this out quick

My apologies if it seemed like a simple answer, but as it is, none of us have actually checked out your engine in person, neither have we performed any diagnostics. You can't expect us to automatically know what is wrong with your car.
Was just trying to help. :\

I unbolted my downpipe from my elbow and let it run for a second and then i saw the unburned oil start dripping onto the ground. I guess both turbos had bad seals.
