rb26dett w/ 350z 6speed????

looking to do an rb26 s13 swap. are there any rwd 6 speed transmissions that are capable of matting to the rb26. i kno that they can come with awd 6speeds and 5speed rwd. or do they have a 6speed rwd. any help would be much appreciated.

i'm no expert, but i heres what i have seen my dad do to make a desired transmission setup fit on something that doesnt bolt up.

He took the stock transmission out of an 89 turbo tans-am v6, cut the bellhousing off then cut the bellhousing off of the desired transmission (i think it was a jericho, or maybe some other type of dogring gearbox) and he welded and fabricated them together.

maybe the jericho and stock transmission were compatible, but custom bellhousing fabrication seems like the logical way to do what you want to do.

your best is to PM or call Blu808, master fabricator and he has done that be4 im sure of it with a datson.

You can do the 6 speed but its a lot weaker so it doesn't make sense.

And by looking at the number of posts you have...you should really search first.
