Request for Buyer's feedback in "market place"

Recently a user named "Drifted240" had a scandal going on. He was selling parts and was promising all kinds of deals. Well turns out he got a few of us, and a few hundred, if not thousands, of dollars from a couple ziliva members. I lost over a hundred dollars, which doesn't seem much. But when you calculate a few buyers that's a lot of money.

In response I opt for a "Buyer/Seller feedback" forum, or a room dedicated to advise future consumers whom to trust over this forum. This would give sellers and buyers the opportunity to earn a respected reputation here on zilvia as well as give the peace of mind to whoever else that might purchase from us.

I also encourage anyone else to post replies in opting for this new forum. Thanks in advance guys. Hopefully this will end a lot of the dead beats.

A rating system simliar to e-bay would be straight pimp. :coolugh:

technically it should have gone in the forums suggestion section, but there are very few people who check it.

I think it would be hard to set something up like ebay though, cuz you would have to edit the vBulletin code (I'm no expert but I assme you would have to change that). It really would be a tough thing to do, maybe the best way is to sticky a post in the for sale section, and just have everyone post like username with a plus or minus next to it, and a brief description on the rating (i.e speedy shipping, or never shipped, or damaged goods, etc..) Then I guess one of the mods could continuously update the first post in the topic with a list of user names with each plus and minus next to it. But then again that could be alot of work for whatever mod does this (especially with the amount of sellers out there).

I guess its up to west to decide either way.

lol its only 11 over there, its just my ****ty writing, I guess bieng out of school for 2 months really takes a toll on my skills, and I got more than a month to wait till school starts:)

yea I really think what that guy did was fu<i></i>cked up. The same thing about to me with someone that WAS on this board. The fu<i></i>cker took my dayum money....and paypal didn't even help me out one bit. :axe:

board.mr2faq.com has a ebay like rating system and they use the same kind of vbulletin... maybe and admin from here can email one of their admins...
