View Full Version : alternator for sr20 need to wire it(dont know how)

hey guys my alternator gave out about a month ago and my baby is been sleeping in da garage. need to get it back in service. got an s14 black top
:newbie:
So far this is what i have found out>
theres three wires
one goes to the batt.
one goes to the ground chassis.
the third one goes to the ecu.

but i only see the two wires i mentioned and im missing the third wire to the alternator. where would it be and how does it look like??


would really appreciate it. if u guys could give me some insight!!

the two wires that you're seeing, is this on the car of off? If you take the alternator off you'd have the ground, the plug that goes to the charge indicator and the power wire to the battery.
Or have you taken yours off and only found 2?

thanks for the reply zac, but i decided to take it to my electrician. he just fixed it today in like 15 minutes.
