I just did a turbo upgrade on my car and I'm pretty limited with my MAF intake pipe and i was just wondering if the MAF has to be a certain distance from the turbo to properly work or does it not matter?
engine is sr20det
thanks

hey dude, ive been hearing that the turbo has to be at least one foot away from the maf, or else the turbulence will give misreadings.

i could be wrong but i remember reading somewhere that the mafs for the sr needs to be atleast 18inchs from the turbo. if your still using the factory tube, i would upgrade to a metal one. enjukuracing sales a ISIS one thats pretty good for 119$.

where is your airfilter and mafs mounted at? i would run it behide the headlight. that would give you the length needed. its your car man, set it up the way you want to
