Hey all, having a problem since putting in my BC272 cams/ springs/ retainers in my rebuilt sr20. Running stock computer. The engine dies on decel after a high rpm/load pull. Any ideas? I figure its something to do with fuel cut on the stock computer, or pisslby the IACV not operating correctly. Any info is good info.
Cheers,
Dave

1) Stock computer?
2) Big cams on SRs usually make idling and decel kinda troublesome....it is not abnormal at all.
My car does this occasionally, but usually, it gets better as the car warms up.

you need a re-tune or chipped ecu for your application.

1) Stock ECU with AEM FIC for tuning.
2) Is there no way to stop this problem? It happens when warm also.

And that is? Still going on. Tried raising IACV idle with TPS unplugged, didn't seem to help.

sounds like you need to do some more adjusting on your FIC. but the real question is why not just go with a ROM tune and be done with it.

You have to bump your idle higher...My car is always hunting for its idle after running big cams. Gotta bump it up to atleast 1-1.2k for your idle to alleviate the issue a bit.
I didnt adjust my IACV...I just adjusted the throttle body to be slightly cracked open to bump my idle.
