I just finished swapping in a rb25det neo 6 into my s14. I noticed my temperature sensor isnt working properly it automatically goes past the hot Im using the stock gauge cluster. Sometimes when i start the car the RPM goes to 5 rpm then starts increasing to 6,7,8 it keeps increasing until i shut the car off. Sometimes when i start the car the RPM goes to 1.5rpm and it stays there and everything seems fine. When i press the gas there seems to be alot of turbo lag. it takes a good 2 seconds for the rpm to go up.
When i try to drive the car the rpm doesn't want to change i can floor the car and nothing will happen. The rpm is stuck at 1rpm. . But if the car is not in gear the rpm works fine. its almost as if im driving in 3rd gear the car doesnt want to move.
Any help would be appreciated

How do i fix the TPS? and can vac lines have that much of a impact on the RPM?

Sooo i upgraded the fuel pump today to a walbro 255 and the car is running much better. I hit 20mph at least but its still giving me alot of problems with the idle. Does the NEO use a control module for the fuel?

i have a neo too and i dont think so. i mean if you have a vacuum leak its sucking air so itll give you high idle. but it can be something else too. i forgot what its called but theres this thing behind the intake plenum its called something like iac or ivac or something like that and that sensor controls the idle i think. i heard theres a valve you can twist to control the idle

Do you think you can post a picture up? the TPS might be the problem. but ill look into that. When i put the car into gear its just really slow it doesnt wanna move but sometimes the turbo just randomly kicks in.

i know where the sensor is its like purple behind the plenum but im not an expert lol. go on nico and theres a guy named s14 neo. you should pm him and ask him questions. there are couple of neo guys on nico that knows that they're doing
