help with bleeding ka24e lifters

ok need help with bleeding the lifters on the ka24e. i seen the write up on the site about doing this. and i was wondering a few things. so if you have done this please help me out.
first the tiny micro hole on top is where you are suppose to insert the needle?
and second are you suppose to be able to push the lifter in and out after it is done right?

if anyone can help me on this it would be great. need to get the car ready for sundays autox.
