has any had this problem?

its happened to me twice, my bov actually blew off. ive got all the proper hardware for it. i used to have it ziptied to keep it from happening. is there something i can do to stop it or am i gonna have to go back to the zip ties?

What?

WTF do you mean it "blew off"?

Did you even install it correctly? Meaning using the big ass C-clip to hold the BOV in place?

Well then either the flange is fucked, or your SSQV is fucked.

Are you 100% certain that the BOV's base is UNDERNEATH the c-clip? And that the c-clip is sitting 100% in the groove on the flange?

the clip might not be all the way in. when it is shoud i be abke to turn the bov or should it be in their nice and tight?

sorry if this is a dumb question...but is it a genuine hks ssqv? I had an ebay one and the c clip was crappy as shit. The c-clip didnt make the bov sit flush. I ordered a real ssqv and right off the bat notice the size difference of the c-clip between both. (egay c-clip smaller)

I know this might not be the case for some ebay shopeers but it was for me.

just throwing an idea out there

You definitely dont have the clip in right, when i was putting mine in the pipe i would get the ring in (i thought it was in) then pull hard on it to make sure and I would be able to rip it off the pipe. Once I wasn't able to pull it off I put it on the car , becuase I didnt want it to blow off like you have had happen

Once you get it installed correctly, think about recirculating it...then it won' stall at stop lights
