I checked and couldnt seem to find this problem, i've found other similar problems, but nothing exactly the same as this, so I figured I'd ask.

Ok so the s14 im going to buy just had a z32 brake conversion done on the front. brand new rotors calipers and pads, stock s14 BMC and agency power SS lines. now the problem is that the car has absolutely no braking force... the pedal goes straight to the floor, but if I pump it before coming to a stop it get firm, but then it goes right back to going to the floor. We bled all four brakes for about an hour and there was no change, clear fluid and there are no leaks anywhere.

can somebody help, cause i'm really confused.

I was thinking that, but the kid im getting the car from put a stock s14 booster and bmc on, why he choose that instead of just going for the z32 idk...

Booster will make the Pedal STIFF

OP make sure the bleeder valve are on the tops of the calipers, Its a common mistake

did you bench bleed the master cylinder?

I dont know if he did that yet. Probably not. And I really dont know whats involved in doing that, but I will search to find out how.

If there are any more possible reasons, please continue to post them.

Thanks for everything so far. I knew there was a reason i loved this site.

Ok I will look into that, when I get the car home tomorrow.

So it wouldn't be the fact that it doesn't have a Z32 bmc?

Nope I have a Full Z32 Setup on my S13 using the Z31 BMC (S13 Auto BMC)

yea also check the seals on the calipers they could be leaking as well front and rear...had that problem couldnt tell my driver side rear caliper was leaking until i took the brakes off and pushed on the seal.

I'll check those as well, if anything it would be the rears, cause the fronts are brand new

Ok, so I picked the car up today. and as soon as I got it home I bled the brakes and booster and the car now stops, pedals a little spongy but it stops good. i guess the kid didn't bleed it right or something. Thanks to everybody who gave me some input, I appreciate it.

Booster? or Master Cylinder?

Did you remove the MC to bench bleed it?

Bleed that shit some more, all 4 corners. Start wit the furthest corner from the mastercylinder and work your way to the closest one up front.

Times like this, I love the Hobby Shop for having a vacuum pump...makes bleeding brakelines a 1 man job that takes no more than 10 mins to do all for if its on a car lift.

No it wasnt the MC or the booster. He just didnt bleed them correctly, I bled it a little when I was at his house before i picked it up, and then I went to autozone and bled all four corners, the way that fliprayzin just said, car stopped just fine.

pedal is still a bit spongy but nothing horrible, I have a new mc coming in anyway just to be safe.
