idk what to do with my rb25 anymore

so my cars been over heating so i changed out the thermostat and it was fine for a day. theres oil in my coolant but there is no coolant in the oil pan. so i swapped out the turbo today to another one and it was the turbo seal that went bad it was mixing. but its still mixing oil and coolant somehow and i was thinking its the headgasket but i dont see any signs of the gasket being blown. i dont even have money right now to pay for a damn gasket + parts + labor etc. it overheated once again after the turbo swap but i didnt flush out the engine and i didnt have my fan on the radiator AND no thermostat. i was thinking of getting the engine professionaly flushed and pressure tested.

i need help what you guys think the problem is. thanks

you should just give your rb25 to me :D

anywho, get a leak down tester, take the radiator cap off, put a cylinder at tdc, take out the spark plug, pump 100psi of air into the spark plug hole via the leak down tester and look for bubbles in the radiator.

No thermostat will not contribute to overheating...if anything it well help cool the engine TOO much.

The only places oil can mix with water (that I can think of) are in turbo or headgasket.

Is this your daily driver? If not (or if you have balls), you should do the headgasket.

I was afraid to do mine, but i just spent a long time doing research before hand and it was a very valuable experience.

yeah dave, i think im gonna get it tested first.
and yes it is my daily and the funny thing is, it runs too good if it was a blown headgasket. and if it was id be loosing coolant but im not

Not always, your head gasket can be blown and not burn any coolant.
Leak down test in cylinders should give you the best idea.
