Someone is trying to sell me this clutch, but i want to make sure its okay before i buy it.

Definitely needs to be resurfaced but it's hard to tell if there are any stress cracks on the surface of the flywheel.

If not, a decent machine shop should be able to clean that up.

if you have hairlines cracks all over it...no bueno...check the FSM...i think it give you minimal thickness for the FW to be resurfacable...im unsure...

its not a factory flywheel so fsm would not help. there might be minimum thickness on the back, sometimes they are cast in.

anyways, i would only buy that thing if it was super cheap.

but to answer the question:

well worth the 50-75 bucks to get that thing cleaned up. just make sure they do it right, they should machine both the contact surface and the bolt hole mounting points to keep the distance correct. anyways, hard to tell from the pic but it has definitely seen some abuse.
