Need help ASAP THnks!

ok so i have an 89 with a DOHC.
i had gone to redlands car ran fine and everything no hesitations.
on my way home later that day my car started pulling back and forth
while i still was giving it gas. wanted to die but didnt.
everytime i give it gas and let go my idle drops to like 500 and goes up.
but it doesnt stay. its a rough idle. then when i give it gas to like 3000
it sounds like it misfires all the way from there from when im holding down the gas.
pulled off on the side of the high way left my car on, doesnt die, and i saw something sparking in the back of the motor. throwing smoke .
then i saw a kinda ripped wire and thot it was is but im not sure if its that , its a plug. i Really need some help asap thnks in advance guys!!!

Might be a ground to something.... feex it if you know its broken

Check all the wiring near the hose running to the brake master cylinder. I had a wire that rubbed between that hose and the firewall. Overtime it rubbed enough to strip a small hole in the wire and cause it to ground out. One easy way to check is use an FSM and verify which wires are grounds. Check them for continuity with the chassis using a volt meter. Then check all the other wire as well and make sure they don't have continuity with the chassis. If you find one that does look at the wiring diagram and make sure it is supposed to tie into a ground. If you don't find any then start checking to see if any of the wires have continuity with each other and verify if they should or not.

yeah thanks bro . i appreciate it. ima cut up my harness and check my wiring cuz i found another wire that was cut off. thats why im thinkin my car has a vacuum leak and now this end of it burned off this valve on the pic. an really made my car to bogg an jerk horribly
