Star the car, let it warm up.
Hold idle at 2k rpms for 2 minutes.
shut car off.
unplug tps.
turn car back on.
race engine to 3k a few times.
let idle drop back down.
adjust idle.
adjust timing.
car off.
plug tps back in.
Wa la right?
Well when the tps is unplugged and im doing timing i have to pretty much max out the CAS retarted to get it to 15 BTDC.
then when i plug tps and stuf back in, car runs like complete asshole.
If i advance the CAS all the way, car runs like a champ....
but plugs show its running super lean.
WHAT THE FUCK I DONT GET IT.
PLEASE DISCUSS>..

Did you do a cams swap or took the cams out lately?

Yes, i just changed my headgasket.
but i had someone hold the chain with slack while i pulled the head then put pliers through it to keep weight on it and ziptied it off to the side so that it would not falll off the bottom sproket lol.
and also marked the notches on the chain where the cam gears are supposed to be.....
AND it was doing this before headgasket swap......... fml

It can not come off the bottom gear the oil pump cover has 2 long fingers that stick out to hold the chain in place. Mines the same as yours rite now. I am about to change the valve cover and put a fresh rocker cover gasket and reset the cas.

So....I'm guessing you don't need the CAS anymore ay Nieko? Hahaha, glad to hear it was a simple stupid mistake and not something serious :)
Oh and check your knock sensor just in case!

wow, my sr had this EXACT same issue...almost....
the tps part is different. my sr would not run w/ the timing at 15*(no matter if tps was plugged or not) but if i put it at say~30 it would run PERFECT i mean spot fucking on. i changed CAs and i know for a fact the chain/cams were correct.... i never figured it out and since have pulled the sr.....wonder if this was it
any who good thing it was easy for you !!!!!!!!!!!
