Hey Ive been having this problem for a few days now, the motor runs fine when it wants and like shit the other times. The engines idle goes up and down sometimes between 300-900 when it runs like shit normally when it runs fine it will idle like normal. When the idle is bad I've noticed it has a lag in low/mid rpm range but does fine at high rpm. I've already checked the injectors, replaced the tps, checked for vacum leaks(none), and checked the fuel pump. Help please....

No check engine light, also could this be from a bad maf sensor?

clean up the maf and throttle body just in case..check for leaks on the intake piping as well.
also what about you dist cap, rotor, sparkplugs, wire plugs??
when was the last time you did a tune up??

I just did a tune up like 3 weeks ago, plugs, cap, rotor, and other things, also I just did a compression test and I ran a constant 165 over all 4 cylinders, so that takes care of it being an internal problem.... Do u think if I seafoam the car it will help??

try putting some new grounds or cleaning the ones you have, i recently replaced the one from the head to the firewall (the one that has like a sensor on it) and put an extra one from the negative terminal to one of the bolts for the suspension. it helped my idle a bunch dude, no lie
idk bout seafoaming.....my friend seafoamed his ka and it broke down few weeks later, seafoaming cleans up carbon buildup and sometimes that carbon buildup is convering some spaces that need to be cover so idk if you wanna do that.
do you have a straight pipe as your exhaust or you still have the stock piping?

did you check the egr? If the EGR is stuck wide open it cause the car to idle funky and possibility of stalling out. If the EGR stuck wide open it will recirculate the exhaust gas back into the combustion camber = running rich and shitty.

Yea imma take the egr off and clean it, but mostly everyone I know said it wasn't the egr, but way too many people on here said it was

to make things short, just check your ecu for codes.
im sure its your maf still

The ecu isn't showing any codes, I also pulled the injectors off and cleaned them and noticed it had 2 different pintle cap on them, can that be a problem?

so i decided to check the ecu codes and turns out the damn green light in it is gone!!! i was wondering if it would be easy to sauter a new one in or just get another ecu? and would an auto ecu work fine for checking the codes?
