That's awesome but the OP already stated he pm'd, emailed, and called with no response; so it's safe to assume he can access their website fine. If anything, he was having trouble finding the thread about the group buy they posted about the new sub-frame brace which has disappeared for some reason.

hmm i talked to john often and i have not heard from him in a while, i know he was having some family issues, but he rectified all issues he had during that but maybe more family problems or some thing of that nature, i bought my haltech from him with no issues. i would just be a little patient and see if you hear from him

Yes file a dispute before you are over the time limit, also file a report with the local PD and contact a lawyer ( depending on the amount that you lost ) typically consultations are free so your not out anything.

I'd still say the trader rating system is the best option @ this moment. I personally had outstanding service from John, when I bought my Haltech from him, and that was quite a bit more than thee braces. I keep hoping that he'll come in here and rectify these issues. I'm am truelly sorry that you guys have run into this and I wish u luck with either John or paypal.

If you paid through paypal using bank transfer, you're SOL on the time constraints. If you used a cc, you might be able to get them to file a charge back with paypal.
