backround: i got my 240sx alread swapped with an sr a couple of months ago. the guy i got it from had it sitting in his drive way for who knows how long. i got it running(all it needed was a intercooler), it idled sketchy(high rpms and not at a constant), but eventually it ran fine

so a couple if days a go i drove it 80 miles(farthest ive gone at one time). the next day i drove to school and drove it at lunch and it was fine, but after school when i started it up i could was getting stong wiffs of gas, but i didnt think much of it, i pulled out into the line and the rpms started bouncing back and forth between 1000 and under. i drove it home and everyime i came to a stop it would stall out.the next day i started it up and it idled fine, i drove it around town and it didnt do it anymore.

Can anyone tell me what it could be? i dont want to start driving and do some serious damage

my mods are: 11psi, hks bov, fmic, and exhuast

probably an injector grommet or o-ring leaking. look at all the injectors for any signs of fuel/moisture.

turn your key on to prime your fuel pump and look under the car and at the fuel lines/hoses/clamps and see if you can find your fuel leak.

a drop in fuel pressure no matter where it may be leaking from will make the car run/idle like crap so once you find the leak, that should fix your problem

best of luck,

Dave
