So im new to the whole tuner thing. I have always driven 4x4 trucks that were extremely lifted. Times got hard and i had to get a fuel saver. I bought a 92 240sx and already installed an AEM cold air on it. Im lookin for something to give me more performance and HP. Im clueless on these little cars and would like some input on what i could possibly do to get more horses out of this 240

I suggest you read up on KA's in the tech section here. It would be wise for you to do some reading first. We do not hold hands here. You are asking very vague questions that could be answered best by your reading.

What don't you understand that I'm clueless what all the abbreviated terms are??? I've done reading but idk what the hell it means! IDK much about foreign engines or cars! THAT'S WHY I CAME HERE... the e-ram sounds and looks great on their web page. The standard e-ram gives 7hp combined already with my short ram intake it gives it 10hp total. The super e-ram for $200 xtra gives it 14 better HP. It sounds good, but does anyone have experience with this product? The dyno test look better but first-hand experience is better to me.

The best thing to do is read, and read about your basic car before u ever attempt to do any upgrades. When there is something you dont understand research that, and if that tells you something you dont understand, research that, and so on and so on...
Its tough love but thats the best way to learn!! You will learn so much more by doing it on your own than having someone tell you exactly what you need to know..

i concur. read and learn as much as you can. also wouldn't hurt to go by your local performance shop and talk with some of the guys there about things you can do/they can do for you.

Look under forums and search build threads,, that will lead you in the right way, you will be able to see what others have done to their cars. I don't feel like a big man on the internet, and I do have both a life and a job. Part of that allows me to browse a few forums, which I do, and answer tech questions since I've owned and serviced 240s for well over a decade and a half.

We all have goals. How we reach them is what matters. Sitting on your sorry, lazy ass and hoping people will do it all for you is not a good way to reach yours. Try again.
