Alright here's the scoop.

I have an S13 SR with the stock T25 @ 15lbs. It's been this way for the past 2 years.

(I know..I know.)

Whenever my car is warmed up and I drive around it's okay, but when I pull up to a stoplight for a minute or so, my exhaust will start belching thick white smoke. It's not like that when I'm just driving though, only when I'm idling.

I know that running that high of a pressure on a stock T25 had to do some damage.

I'm thinking it's either valve seals or the turbo seals, but I'd love for it to be the turbo seals.

Is there an easy way to diagnose the two?

Aaaaannnny help I can get for this would be magical. I'm leaning towards the turbo, but I need some reassurance, haha.

Thanks in advance for any help you can lend!

white smoke usually means coolant is leaking into the combustion chamber AKA Blown head gasket

excessive oil burning is blueish

For the turbo check the compressor wheel for shaft play
and do a compression test while your at it. should be around 150

I have no heating issues, the car runs cool, so I don't know if it's a BHG or not.

I'm starting to think it's not the turbo because of the fact that it doesn't happen upon first startup, and I think it gets worse as the car gets warmer.

My buddy has a compression tester so when he gets back into town I'll check it again. Last time I checked it was a little low on compression, but I don't know if it's related or not.

I'd definitely love this to be valve seals or a turbo instead of BHG...GAHHH...
