The first “That tiger went tiger” story of the decade

Canada: Tiger Mauls Its Owner
http://www.nytimes.com/2010/01/12/world/americas/12briefs-Canada.html

By AGENCE FRANCE-PRESSE
Published: January 11, 2010

A tiger’s owner, who won a legal battle for the right to keep exotic pets, was fatally mauled by the 650-pound animal, the police said. Norman Buwalda, 66, was found dead in the tiger’s pen on his property in rural Ontario on Sunday afternoon, Constable Troy Carlson of the Ontario Provincial Police said. “He had gone in to feed the tiger and possibly had been attacked,” he said.

Even though there's like 10 of these stories a year, people don't learn.

seriously people are stupid and they try to domesticate animals that just can't be.

I thought this was going to be about an animal in a zoo somewhere that plays golf and kept fucking white girls when his wife wasn't looking.

Silly me.

I read a couple years back that large cats can be bought as cubs for only $500 sometimes.
Jeez, no wonder its crazy.

i got to see some large cats and other crazy animals up close while working on a movie.
Lions are scary at 25' away in a cage.
My fucking heart started racing and i actually felt like some sort of animal with its survival instincts kicking in.
wolves are fucking awesome!
watching two female trainers get drug around by a joey is hilarious.
Seeing a Giraffe kick over the camera on accident as it walked by was pure comedy!

Zilvia's first epic post of 2010!

No seriously I was almost on the floor laughing!

People need to keep bringing home dangerous animals to own, it weeds out the idiots quicker.

the big car that scares me the most is the black jaguar at the san diego zoo. I took a picture at night time zoo once, and all you can see is cat eyes staring at you. Plus male jaguars are super built.

Male lions look chubby, female lions look skinny. All cheetahs look really skinny. The smaller big cats look really playful. Tigers are too sleepy and look pretty chubby too.

So I'm pretty sure a Jaguar would fuck me up faster than the others.

And I forget what they are called, but there are those domesticated cats that are super big and have spots like leopards. They cost like $20,000 but I would still want one.
