Basically I bought a 240sx with a blown turbo, running a KA-T kit. I want to revert back to stock aka NA. I have a stock manifold on the car already and a stock intake, the only part I'm confused on is the oil lines. When I received the car, it didn't have a oil return line connected but it did have the other line that connects to the block and then to the turbo. I removed the line off the turbo but the line is connected to the block still. It's right next to the oil filter on the right side of it towards the front of the car. I'm pretty sure if I remove the line it will need to be blocked off. BUT MY PROBLEM IS I really don't know what was there in the first place. Do I just put a screw in there to block it off ?

Oil pressure sending unit goes there.

Edit: This part goes there. (http://www.courtesyparts.com/25240x-sending-unit-oil-pressure-240sx-s13-1989-1994-p-184672.html)

okay cool, that would make sense because there is also a sensor right next to where the line screws into. i believe im just missing the screw part of the sensor...

Don't bother with that unless you like oil leaks. Just buy a pipe plug fitting at any decent hardware store, 1/8" BPST, and seal it with RTV.

hmm thats what i was thinking also, but what happens to the sensor?

Read up about it. There's literally tons of threads about the uselessness of the OE sender and it's leakage issues.

so here is a pic, it seems like we clarified almost everything but just to make it 100 percent sure. so if i remove that line, what do I plug it up with? is this the spot that had a allen head screw ? or no?

Its supposed to be 1/8 BSPT, but its more likely to have had a 1/8 NPT fitting put into it, because they are much easier to find and similar in size. What you put in there is your choice, but seeing that the fitting is brass its probably a 1/8 npt fitting from home depot.

You can get that fitting in two types, allen head countersunk or the 4 point square pipe plug style.

hmm okay, so if I were to go to home depot, I would basically just ask for a allen head screw that is 1/8 npt? I'm somewhat confused...

Here's what i did.

Bring turbo stuff to lowes/hardware store (my hardware store kicks ass btw)

Find nuts that thread onto your feedline. Find bolts that thread into that nut.

Wrap bolt in teflon tape. insert bolt.

When my t25 hotside cracked like a stooge being interrogated by the fbi, instead of removing my t adapter, i just put some teflon tape on a plug (which i had bought previously expecting the worst) and slapped it on in there.

I took my oil pan fitting off (after draining the oil) and did the same with it. Took it to the hardware store (i dont remember sizes of shit AFTER i install it nine times out of ten.....especially 6 months after), found a fitting that fit, found the proper sized plug.

DO NOT BE AFRAID TO MAN UP AND OPEN UP BAGGIES OF FITTINGS. I had the manager of lowes watch me do this with my turbo strapped to the manifold, an oil pressure sending unit and and a oil pan in a shopping cart.

For de-turbo, i just went to my local store.

It's not THAT difficult. Just dont forget the teflon tape!!!!!
