So as he title says my gauge shows ---- at idle...the funny thing is that the exhaust gas smells very gasy! The other thing is that the car has no power at all until it comes to boost and if i accelerate from low speed with third or fourth gear it doesn't rev up steady..i can not explain it correctly but its like every milisecont it cuts a bit until 4000rpm than everything is fine!also my a?f readings at high rpm are lean like 11 tops and than back to 13.5 or so but the car runs very nice up there!I run740 nismo injectors z32 maf e manage ultimate and 1.1 bar boost.any ideas?thanks in advance and i wish you all a happy new year!

it means it's running extremely rich. you need to take out a lotta fuel it sounds like.

oh and with the other issues, it sounds like it just needs to be tuned.

the car is already tuned it ran fine for like a year....could it be the maf?
or maybe the sparkplugs?it also from time to time seems to drop the battery voltage i realized it today when i saw for an instand the lights dimming down.Is it possible that there isn't enough voltage there on low rpm to ignite the mixture?

Im not going to chime in on your other issues because your wideband is junk so its afr readings mean nothing to me yet. Every aem wideband I have compared with my wideband is always off but when I compare mine to others such as innovate, ngk, zetronix ect they are always the same. Aems seem to burn up sensors as well.

I had someone bring me their car 4-5 days ago and their aem was doing the --- thing at idle although he was about a 13.5 on mine. His did supprise me though as when he was driving his was the first to be accurate with mine.

I say get a real wideband before you go diagnosing issues.

Yes ok I thought also that something goes wrong with my aem,but to the problem could it be the o2 sensor maybe?

the sensor isnt everything, the controller is greatly responsible for how long your sensor lasts.

Ill stand behind my Innovates anyday, I can honestly say I have NEVER seen a aem wideband work correctly when compared to other brands of widebands, ones in which would read correct with each other.

Check what injectors are selected in the injector selection menu. It's possible that your tuner did not select the correct ones, or somehow they were reset or not saved properly.

Also chekc your correction maps.

If you are interested I could check out your MAP for you for a small fee and send it back to you with some additional changes that might help if you're sure it's still overly rich.

Sorry for the delayed reply...the injector lag time was wrong!!!It reset it self at 5 msec instead of 0.66!I bought a new o2 sensor and spark plugs,i will try out and see what happens...as far to the aem wideband the most reviews say that they are OK.

exactly as I thought

Injector selection,

more importantin AEM units, but if your lag time is way off, all bets are off

It is not an aem unit but it made my car ran like shit!

Update!I changeged the sparkplugs and o2 sensor, pulled some fuel off from the idle area and changed the clamp on the boost limiter cut setting and added some fuel on the acceleration adjustment map and every thing is good!
At 1.2 bar boost with stock turbo the car pulls like hell and all the readings are fine!
Thnks to everyone for the help!
