ok, so i got a blacktop sr and pos harness from jemadness(which btw, DO NOT do business with this memeber, EVER. he is no longer responding to my pms nor will he answer his phone. theres oil around the headgasket, so im pretty sure it leaks. hes super hairy and wont help me with anything.) anyways, theres multiple wiring issues im having problems with..

first off, this is what his bs looked like-

so sean gave me a part of a fresh harness so i could give mine a face life. (seans harness runs from the ecu plug up to the "Y" where it goes into the O2 sensor plug and the other fork ends at the ignitor plug)
and right now im dealing with..
i matched all the wires from the bs harness to those from seans, and ive got 3 left over wires on the O2 side(on seans):
mint green/black
yellow/white
green/blue

then, on the ignitor side, ive got 5 left over on seans:
pink
blue/white
orange/blue
green/blue
BIG grey with black/white inside

and on the ignitor side of the bs harness, ive got 5 left over:
2 green/yellow
black(theres 5 on bs, and 4 on seans)
2 BIG greys(white/black inside)

and also, this grey plug(idk what it is) had a grey plug plugged into it. and instead of wiring it to the 240, i just sanded the red plug key down and plugged it in.. is this bad? or wrong?

this was plugged into it

and one more thing... idk what this plug is-

Do you have an ECU pinout? If not, google it and you'll come up with one no problem.

Follow the mystery wires back to the ECU plug and match it up with the pinout, it will tell you what the wire is for.

That thick grey one with the white and black inside is the MAF sensor... hard to tell what the others are without following them.

One could be a red top and one could be a blacktop perhaps?

Excellent. Plugging in random connectors without knowing what each wire does. Your motor will not run, if not blow up.

Throw away everything. Both harnesses are crap. Buy a brand new engine harness. Start over.

I have to agree on this one. I f u sit here and try to repair either harness, its gona be a waste of time. You mite damage something beyond repair. You should just get another harness and start over.

Frying the ECU is quite likely when you're plugging random stuff into random stuff.

Can you take a picture of the whole harness laid out on the floor and put circles with numbers around the stuff you're confused about? I'll tell you where it goes to or if it's useless... there's some stuff you don't need.

in all honesty, whats the worst i could damage?

ECU, every single sensor on the car, and even start a car fire.

I've seen this. I've done this. You do not want this.

I've spent the last month trying to revive this car that was damaged by an engine fire. The fire was caused by shady wiring.

If it takes me a month then it's damn near impossible for the average person.

Be afraid. Be very afraid.
