Mods dont lock, you said to search and i did but all the swaps are for auto cars putting in manual transmissions. My dilemma is this.
I have a stock 5 spd car "all the clutch lines , pedal etc is already there" but my stock motor is screwed. I have access to a car that is an AUTO. Can i just pull the motor and put in my car , and everything bolt up? Im worried about the mounting bracket where the tranny meets the engine.
Thanks for the help, in dire need.

yes it will bolt up but the auto pilot bushing needs to be replaced with a 5 speed one then your also going to need your 5 speed flywheel bolts and your 5 speed tranny bolts. Mounting brackets are the same so it shouldn't matter.

So i should be fine as long as i have access to the original 5spd motor also? I dont need any 500.00$$ adapter plates or anything?

There is no mounting bracket on the block, have you even looked at your car?
The engine block is EXACTLY the same between auto and manual. In fact, the whole engine is. Why would you think for a second that anything would be different?

Actually to be completely honest, no i have not botherd to look at it. Just got the car for my fiance "trying to get it running for christmas" ever since i did my 1993 2+2 300zx build shes been wanting a build of her own. But before i turn her lose painting stuff pink i wanted to get it running lol.
And my asumption was because when dealing with a Z32 "300zx" it is highly different, switching trannys and stuff is a 600 dollar process.

To begin with, you didn't even state you were dealing with a Z32, so we're supposed to assume that you were? Although this is a Z and S chassis forum, the majority of it deals with the S chassis. You need to make your points clear if you expect good assistance.
And what does cost have to do with it? You're saying swapping transmissions in any other car doesn't cost money? I don't understand your logic here. If you buy all the required parts used to swap a 240SX, you could just as easily spend $600. I'm betting if you did the swap on say, an M3, it would cost even more. So, by your assumption, the more expensive the parts are, the more different the engine blocks will be. Explain please.
