so i have an rb25 with bolt on stuff...garrett t60-1 turbo.
i have aem FIC witch is not cutting it. driveability went out the window and the tune sucks. it has 660cc injectors. if i were to put my factory injectors in and wire the factory computer back up and use the MAF, would i be ok driving under boost? this would be temporary until i get my EMS.
it should be the alright, as long as i dont spool up too much right? imagine it as a factory rb with too big of turbo.....
thanks for opinions

What wastegate are you using? Getting the boost down low enough to be 'safe' would probably be difficult. Do you have a wideband?

i think youll be running to lean or right at the borderline of it at 14pounds.

I wouldn't boost it with that turbo on stock ecu. Asking for trouble.

At 14psi on a 60-1 you'll be way lean... you'd be borderline with the stock T3/T28 at a bar. It's not just the injectors, the MAF that could be a limiter - they all hit a wall right around 300whp, which is a bar on the stock turbo.
Get a 7psi spring and keep an eye on that wideband.

go get a 92-94 maxima se ecu and send it out to jim wolf technology it works with the rb25det
anyone one of these will work with the rb25 but you have to send it out first to be chipped and tuned

i already had a bad tune experience. i dont want a chipped ecu that can have a tune burned on it. i want something that a tuner can easily tune in real time.
