I just dropped a ka24de into my S13 Shell and I'm trying to get everything right. One line goes up through the fuel filter, to 2 injectors. The other goes up to 2 injectors. When I look down there is another hose that is shorter and doesn't seem to connect anywhere. Does this connect somewhere or should I just leave it alone? Thanks!

Tank feed-fuel pump-filter-fuel rail-return line.

tank vent-evaporative charcoal canister.

It's best to trace the lines at the tank. Figure out what each line is and follow the line up to the engine bay.

One is the feed line, the one withe filter on it. The other is the return line, comes from the regulator.

Any other line is more than likely the fuel tank vent line, although it should be further back towards the firewall.

Ok; Feed line and then the return. Got it now! Yes, the other one is indeed further back towards the firewall.

So, you guys are saying that it's an fume vent type line? Does it need to be hooked up somwhere or no?

Thanks again!

It should be connected to the charcoal canister, but it can be left open if the canister is gone. Do NOT cap it.

On the stock US S13, the fuel tank vent line travels in a group up to the firewall area. Then the vent line branches off over to where the air filter box is.

As said above, if you still have the charcoal canister, then the tank line should go to the big inlet nipple on the canister.

If not, then leave the vent open to atmosphere and put a breather filter on the line or at least point the line down to keep out debris.

Nah, it doesn't have the canister. Thanks so much for the answers! Hopefully, I'll get it running today!
