Ok, i have a 1991 240sx Ka-t. I am trying to figure out why my car is stalling when comming to a sudden stop. Whenever I am in high speed or car is reving high it stalls out when I slow the car down to a stop..
whats causing this?

The car doesnt stall when i am driving on low RPMs or when i am driving in a slow speed. Sometimes when i noe the car is going to stall out when i slow down i give it gass to save it..

Im thinking IACV? TPS?

Any advice will be appreciated!!!!

it could be that or you may have a boost leak, inspect that and make sure the MAF is good to, there could be more reasons , but inspect those things first.

Mine did that just before it blew:bite:

nah I'm j/k but check your timing. What's your setup? Your mix could be a little too lean I've had that happen to me. I fixed mine with timing adjustment and S-AFC2.

check ur timing. and r u running a bov. maybe its leaking. try dicontecting it and caping off the vaccum to it and see wut happens

my MAF is good, been checked already..
my setup is

550cc
SAFC2
Enthalpy Tuned ECU
Stock timing, havent mingle with timing since turboed
Dont think i have a boost leak, check for that a while ago, but it wont hurt to double check.

I will try disconnecting the bov and caping the vacuum line.

Any more suggestions?

your fuel might also be running too rich, have you tried leaning it out abit or is it already tuned specifically for your setup?

you have an af meter or wideband right?

Recirulate your BOV. The SAFC is measuring air that is not there anymore. When you come off boost and it blows the air through the BOV it causes a rich condtion quickly and stalls the engine. You can tune this out throught the SAFC on the decel air menu but i don;t know how.

well i have a tuned ecu with my setup, and i can run my tune ecu without my safc2 and it will run fine, so i dont think adjusting the safc will have anything to do with it.

And yes my wideband read 14_on idle which is pretty good.

I have took all the emission stuff off and block the EGR with a block off plate
