What are the differences between all the different aftermarket RB25det Intake manifolds?

Ive been searching around the net for awhile trying to find the best deal i could for an aftermarket RB25det intake manifold and i wanted to know if anyone could help me out in finding the differences between them besides the name.

I noticed that GREDDY is the standard for which everyone uses and wants but ive also see knock off Greddy intake manifolds that say they are just as good a the name brand at a cheaper price. Is there any truth to that?

Ive aslo visited rawbrokerage.com and noticed that they have SIS RB25DET Intake Manifold at half price but what the catch?

There has been many other websites that i have came across ( most of which i have forgot about) over the years and they too have there own RB25det intake manifolds and clam that they do the same thing a GREDDY intake manifold does.

So if any one can give me any answers about this i would really appreciate it. If anyone can direct me to a recommended place or person to buy one from that too would be much apprecated. I just want to make sure im spending my hard earned money wisely.

Thanks

Well staying away from the "knock-off" discussion, let me just make one point...

If everyone is trying to compare themselves to the GReddy manifold, wouldn't that just serve to prove that it is the best one out there, since everyone is attempting to imitate it?

Why get the imitator, when you can get the originator?

if you have the money then buy the real shit most of the knock off i have seen look like shit and the casting is shit. Save up and buy a used greddy manifold or just save up and buy a new one.

i own a GReddy intake manifold on my RB25. since 2003, it has not cracked or corroded or anything negative for that matter. Why get something thats trying to be the best out there, when you can just save a bit longer and get THE best ?

The Isis one works about the same for less money

thanks that "ThatGuy" i understand your point about the knock offs. I was just trying to get an understanding about different brands...... maybe not necessarily knock offs.

Thank you "Killa_D" and "SlideWell" about reminding me about shitty casting

"murda-c" thank you for your reply, but in what way is do you mean it works about the same?

I have an autobahn88, works good.

I'm not paying 800 for one when I can spend half w/the greddy throttle body adapter and spend maybe half an hour of my time looking over the casting and cleaning up edges/chasing threads with a tap. Its not the real deal, so it won't be perfect. Nothing a bit of work can't solve.

There does seem to be a few different copies out though. Some are very bad, some (like mine) need hardly anything at all, and come with everything.

I have a greddy on my rb25 but there was something online that showed the ISIS and greddy on a flowbench and they were identical flow wise. Material and quality wise I have no idea about.

From what I've heard the KU Engineering manifold is a good one also.
