hey i have a s14 and something apears to be wrong with my clutch. When i first turn on my car, it hooks up and everything is at least normal. But then when im driving for a while it starts to slip. It was slipping so bad on the way up here to my class, that i couldnt get up the hill in 1st gear. finnaly i got it to park ( after throwing 5k rpm on the dash it barely moved). Anyhow i need help. I check my fuild levels and and its all good. any advice can help thanks

you have just burned your clutch, did you just got a new clutch? cuz if you did then the reason for your slippage is cuz your flywheel hasnt been resurfaced or your clutch is wasted and its not having much contact with the flywheel:l101:

i just recently brought the car and so im not sure what its got.....the guy did tell me that if has a new pressure plate....dont know why it only needed that....anyhow last night i was able to leave school with te car and drive home perfectly fine......untill about i was on my street and start to slip a little..my conclusion is that it has something to do with the car heating up???? i dont know why ...but cause when ive been driving it for a while it tends to slip bad and it gets worst after that point. but if i let it sit with the motor off and it cools down.....in about a hour or so i can dry it until the problem or so...

its not the engine that's warming up its the clutch material. You need to drop the transmission and inspect the clutch assembly.

yeah he is right, and it cannot just need a new pressure plate cuz if you just get that might aswell get everyhting brand new and fresh. I know the problem is somwhere between the flywheel and the pressureplate, check your clutch cables they porbably need to be tighten, or you need new ones :w00t:
