Hey Guys, ive noticed allot of you guys want to upgrade your alternator but don't do it because of the bracket that needs to be fabricated, and some of the grinding involved. if i could provide a kit, that would eliminate all the fabrication, and basically all you had to do was slightly grind a little bit of the alternator casing, and bolt everything else on how many people would be intrested? and also how much would you be willing to spend.

I would include.
New Adapter for tensioner
new block spacer.
and a new bolt for the adapter.

these kits can be made of both Steel or Aluminum.

they will be made here in SoCal, and will be Tig Welded, so full penetration is 100% guaranteed and it will look factory. what do you guys say?

how many of you would be interested?

Edit, This is for the RB motors, (RB20 25 and 26)

This is for the Quest alternator right? What do they usually go for?

I know there are at least a few people running big amplifiers that should have this, and depending on final pricing on the kit and the donor alternators, it could be a good option for people that have their JDM alternators die on them.

Thanks for bringing this kind of cool shit to the community, Juan!

yes this is for a mid 90's Nissan Quest alternator, you can get them anywhere from 35$ all the way up to $180 depending on your source.

and yes the same reason im offering this is because the RB has a mighty weak 65amp alternator lol doubling up will be cheap. the final cost even getting the most expensive alternator is still cheaper than a replacement RB alternator.

You might as well sell an alternator with the setup if you can get them for $35...

But come to think of it, there hasnt been alot of folks who are running Quest alternator in their car. I dont think there would be as much demand for them since how often do we see an S-chassis with a sound system in it that will benefit from having a bigger amped alternator? Shit, most S-chassis we see now a days barely have any fucking interior in them.

Surprise Surprise Guys, got the aluminum spacers from the machine shop today, so I started welding up the Tensioner brackets here is a Teaser shot.

Basically all I gotta do is weld the nut on the tensioner bracket, Paint everything, and Put all the hardware in Baggies. here is a teaser.

The Final Cost of the Product will be 40$ shipped to your door (lower 48 states, it'll be 47.25 for oversea orders.)

So all you will need will be the 95 Nissan Quest Alternator, and a FWD SR20 Alternator Bolt. I'm having a hard time locating a bolt long enough locally to work with my kit, so the introductory kit will not have a bolt. the 2nd batch will include everything needed, but the price will be higher.

so for tomorrow I will have 26 Completed Kits, Can we get a list going? Paypal is [email protected] I'll start taking payments now, when the 26th bracket is purchased if im not online to post about them being sold out, I will refund you your money as soon as i log in again. any feedback will be greatly appreciated.

this is perfect for you guys, running taurus Fans, Lots of Electronics, specially those with sound Systems and relocated batteries.
