Hi guys I need help finding a head gasket for my ka24de with a over bore of .02. I cant seem to find a head gasket to match a 89.5 bore anywhere on the internet, the only hg i find are 89mm, 90mm, and 91mm. Would it be safe with going with a MLS head gasket with 89mm? Someone please help me.

+1 Most HG's are .5mm larger than advertised anyway just to gain clearance/make sure it's mating on the flat surfaces etc. It's well accepted and would be the recomended size by the manufacurers.

I had the machine shop mic check the bore and thickness of the old headgasket. Turns out it was a 90mm bore with a thickness of 1.14. I have a new cometic hg on order :) Thanks for all the help

go with 90mm to make it snug if you go with the 89, you may have little leaks, but with the 90 it will all be snug.
