Ok well I turned my s13 with a s14 ka on and then i started noticing a rough idle. So with the car still on... i pulled one of my spark plug wires of #1 was fine then #2 was fine. Then #3 didnt do anything. #4 was fine. so I thought it was time for some new spark plugs. but even with the new plugs its the same thing. Im guessing its the wires? but it could be something else. there has to be a reason why its #3. So Isearched allover and no one has any info on this so can I please get some knowledge to what you may think is the most obvious problem? thanks :-/:cry::wtc:

Swap the wires between that cylinder and another. If it's still dead, it's the injector.

Search. Well beaten question. Short answer is no, and you should be smart enough to know why without asking, but if not, go find out.

Did you lube the injectors when you installed them?

Check your spark plug wire order. All the engine needs is air, fuel and spark. If you changed the injectors and wiring/plugs properly, all that's left is air. So unless you dropped a valve or something, there is no reason why it shouldn't be working theoretically.

Did your engine overheat? Or were you driving it harder than average when this problem occurred?

No it hasnt overheated and i havent driven it hard, I just turned it on one day and it srated idling rough. i dont know if its the 3rd valve but i know this is going to get expensive =/ what do you think I should do?

ok ill try it probably i didnt put them right but i checked the injector cables with a noid light and they all work. when i pull all the inj cables out the car studders except the 3rd one so it may have to do something with the 3rd injector ima take it out and check it and put it back on. thanks for your help. keep the answers coming. thnks:hsdance:

well i found out the problem... The new injector i bought was defective so I had to get a used one from another 240sx and BAM! it works. So right now im cleaning the fuel injectors with the injector cleaner and cleaning the system with sea foam. Thanks guys for all your help
