Sure it is, because all your doing no matter what engine your using is screwing up your timing by altering your maf voltage which changes your air fuel ratio.

I would just leave that thing alone personally. I see people get away with them on street cars but I have seen more than enough safc'd motors (sr's and ka's alike) blow up when the owners track/drift the cars.

What your doing to your timing with those are bad and most engines will start to detonate when you continue to preignite the mixture.

Timing is far more important that fuel, and people sacrifice their timing for a more ideal air fuel ratio. I just dont get it.....
