Ok, so this just happened recently, and has never done this since I installed my Flexlite dual fans.

I have them wired to the ignition cause I wanted them on constantly.
Well I noticed one fan started making weird noises and eventually died out, leaving me with one fan. The other night I noticed the car was running a bit hot, so I pulled over and checked the fans and coolant level.

The other fan was also not running, and the relay I had for the fans was really hot, leading me to believe the relay went bad. On futher inspection I noticed the power wire from the other fan relay was broken and had fallen out. SoI rewired a nwe relay and also replaced the power relay. The fan thats been working came on strong, but it also would turn off, then turn back on, of then on every 40 seconds or so.

What could be the cause of this. Could it be that the last "good" fan is dying, and I should just replace both fans?

Sounds likely, the fan motor has reached it's life expectancy. Running them constantly on all the time wears them down a lot faster, and poor wiring/not enough current can also cause irreparable damage.

Yeah, I think its because the dead fan is still wired up, causing the relay to over heat

turn your fan off on the freeway bro! real unnecessary!!

even most daily driving you dont need your fan...
