I've got an spare KA that i was going to boost...but it turned out it needs more work than i thought. cold compression numbers were 120,115,115,95 (approximations). then i did a wet test and numbers jumped dramatically (175 to 200). so i came across this rebuild kit on the net, and just wanted to get some opinions on it. i've seen so many different brands tossed around i can't figure out what's worth getting and what's not. the 1300 kit looks pretty complete, but i might just save up and get the kit that comes with the gaskets *shrug* also, i've never done a rebuild...i think the most intensive thing i've doen when it comes to a motor is replace a starter-anyone got tips?
oh yeah here's the link:

also found this one which was much cheaper but it's a "basic" rebuild

the turbo setup i'm trying for will be a t3/t4 pushing about 275-300 to the wheels.
