255 fuel pump question

Hey I have some issues with my car that I am trying to figure out they are stated in my other thread........ but in this I would like to ask if all walbro 255's are loud while running? cause I have had two and both have been very loud but this last one I just noticed I cant hear anymore and maybe the culprit to my issue... any help welcome thanks

you should be able to hear it when you first start the car. It should be a slight whine.

well hooked up a gauge and im seeing 40-42lbs at idle and goes up to 50 when I floor it

i can hear mine when the pump pressures the system but once that car is running i really dont hear it unless i listen for it.

thats what I was thinking...... I have just figured out my problem when I pull boost I was loosing it around the 4th fuel inj o ring... the cause was the bolt on the rail loosened causing it to leak under alot of preasure but be fine normal driving
