After Ted Kennedy killed Mary Joe Kopechne he walked to a hotel, fell asleep, woke up due to noise of the room next door and called the front desk to complain that he can't sleep. MJK was sitting dead in car filled with water and Kennedy couldn't sleep in a hotel room.

Good riddance. The part I find disgusting is that the liberals are all over this before his body even gets cold. They are proposing naming the Healthcare bill after him in a futile attempt to put one past the American people.

Yep, I agree. He's become a martyr for the liberals to blind the public to whats going on. The news hasn't talked about Mary Kopechne, and what I did hear, was that he took a "wrong turn, at night, with no guardrail, and not under the influence of any intoxicants". And to those who just couldnt get the joke I made, its been driving me crazy that some people didn't get it.

Ya except honestly JFK was not as good as the press made him out to be and if he have lived we probably would not look at him as they do now. He was in cahoots with the Mafia, he was running Women in and out of the White House. He was the one that got us into Vietnam. He passed the bills to start it, he sent the advisors and the first troops. Johnson who was his vice president wound up escalating it and believe it or not Nixon got caught with the blame because he was the one that had to pull us out. Not saying Nixon did not have his own problems. LOL.
Though JFK was not the saint that the press made him out to be, same goes for his brother Bobby. JFK and Bobby were in with the Mafia before the election and as soon as Bobby got elected as Attorney General he went after the Mafia. Sirhan Sirhan may have killed Bobby Kennedy but believe me the Mafia was pretty happy about it.

I do not consider any of the Kennedy's to have been good. Shit even there Dad Joseph Kennedy was a fucking rum runner during prohibition. LOL The Kennedy fortune was from the equivalent of drug dealling money. LOL Fuck and his Daddy even lined peoples pockets to get his sons were they wound up. Fucking whole family was a real piece of work.

Very good point. shit's a trip. The real issue with Watergate was not just that it happened, the Democrats and Republicans had been doing this kinda of stuff since Eisenhower. It was the fact that his guys got caught and he tried to cover up his knowledge of it and his discussions of how to cover it up. He lied and got caught lying and trying to cover up. That was his bad. He also in his later years in office became very paranoid of people and rather imperial.

He also did bomb Cambodia which we were not at war with. Of course Vietnam was never a congressionally declared war either which is what is normally needed for the U.S. to be at War officially.

I could discuss what I think about vietnam for hours, but let's not go into that lol. It was a quagmire. I admire and respect the vietnam vets for doing what their country (or more accurately the government) wanted them to do.

But a politician is a politician. A snake in the grass is the same as a snake in the road. Ones just easier to spot.
