yeah i know i should have combined the two threads but w/e. so i had at one point solid lifters on my sr and used the special tool and re shimmed each rocker arm assembly. they were kept seperate and installed on their original assemblies so no mix up. my question, i since then have went to hydrolic lifters and was wondering if i need to re shim the head? i would assume that since i'm on hydrolic lifters they will compensate for whatever adjustments we made? the engine is out of the car now so if it will need new shims/guides and a re shimming i'd rather do it now. also, hypothetically they're off, is their any symptoms or tell tale signs?
